Citrus County Veterans Coalition, Inc.

The Citrus County Veterans Coalition will meet at 6 p.m., on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Citrus County Resource Center, W. Marc Knighton Ct. just off CR 491 in Lecanto. These are open business meetings and all members, Veteran’s Organizations and interested veterans who are eager to assist veterans in need are encouraged to come and get involved.

The CCVC has projects that need your help in getting accomplished and this can be done through a cooperative effort of all 28,000 veterans inCitrus County. The Citrus County Veterans Coalition’s philosophy is “Veterans Helping Veterans.” Their assistance starts with serving coffee and donuts at the V.A. Clinic once a month, to helping needy veterans and their families with a food bank and temporary monetary assistance, to establishing a “Re-Education Center and Program” for Veterans who are trying to make the transition from military life to civilian life. We are well on our way to making these programs come to fruition and with your help it can be done. It takes money and a cooperative effort on all our parts.
